In her most recent CD, Boomerang Girl, songs range from the title’s rock biographical whimsy, to the arched sarcasm of “You’re Gonna Miss me when I’m Gone”, to the jazzy “Firefly”, a flute song with a nod to Ian Anderson. A fifth CD is underway!
Barbara is a dynamic musician with a big voice and great stage presence.

Highlights in her diverse career include:
• Composed music, wrote soundtract, and starred in movie “Highway of Heartache”, and cracked the top 100 in Country Music chart
• Sang for the Opening Ceremonies for the Canada Winter Games
• Sang for the American troops in Japan
• She won the BC Festival of the Arts ‘Award of Excellence’
• Was nominated for a West Coast Music Award
• Won the ‘Yukon Time’ Competition
• Yukon Department of Tourism commissioned her to write the Territory’s theme song
• She won the Yamaha songwriting award at the BC Festival of the Arts
• Was runner-up in the John Lennon Song Contest
• She has played for Prince Charles
